Walbro GSS342-400-791 Fuel 🛢️ Pump Kit with Installation Accessories Review

Walbro Fuel Pump GSS342-400-791255 liters per hour with Subaru Kit Works on my 1998 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS and 1998 Subaru Forester with 2.2 engine.

Walbro direct fuel pump. The only kit I could find at the time was the pump and wiring harness. This was on my '87 Toyota Pickup 22RET with minor modifications. Filled the system with fuel and it has been working ever since.

There is a very high probability that it is a fake. I ordered it with Prime delivery (which is optional but more likely to get real). I compared it to a fake Walbro manual. He passed with honor! Fits well. The quality is excellent. Definitely recommend!

Perfect for my 2002 WRX. If I had to do it again I would just buy the pump and not the install kit as I could reuse everything that was in my factory install except for the pump itself. The factory suspension fits Walbro along with the factory fuel hose, sock and clamps.

I am an honest Amazon Prime user. I usually do all my shopping here just because it's convenient for me not to go to the store and have everything on one site. Warning, this product is now a genuine Walbro product. The part was made in China with no sign of Walbro endorsement. I'm back from Amazon. I haven't bothered to use the product so I can't verify if it works or not.

I recently installed a new Crate Chevy engine on my old Jeep CJ. I needed 58psi in the fuel line and wanted to use a tank pump instead of an external pump mounted to the frame of something. The tank already had a 5/16 metal outlet from the intake manifold and sock filter so we measured the height, cut the pipe and clamped this pump and filter with a short rubber fuel hose so this pump was about 1/8 inch. from the bottom of the tank. I bought this kit back early August 2019, the pump is frying mid October. Did a little research. All signs pointed to the fuel pump control. I only ordered the pump, got the pump stamped T1 Automotive. I sent the pump back thinking they sent me a fake one. Ordered this kit again as it was a real Walbro the first time.
