Provides a more comfortable ride

I still enjoy riding the Trek but pedaling has become difficult due to my age and hip injury. This handlebar allows me to sit upright, which makes riding easier. The quality seems good and the delivery time was very good.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons

Sharp looks, wide span

Converted my road bike into a pseudo cruiser and these bars were just what I needed for a more comfortable ride! The packaging looked a bit sketchy (big box that didn't look well sealed) but they were also bubble wrapped and padded to prevent damage in transit. Easy to assemble and has that classic late 60's-70's bike look. Their wingspan is quite large, so they are ideal for large motorcycles.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Only available in black

American classic! Suitable for cycling

This is an American classic! Cheap and convenient. Is your bike too low and too long? fix it Clumsy and funky. Get these instead of the Wald 872 as they have a very long straight section to fit full size cranks, shifters and brake levers. You can always cut them. I call them Bluegrass Boscos because they're Nitto Bosco-esque Kentucky bars that cost three times as much. You can glue the front and get multiple hand positions. Recommended!

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Some imperfections

Rust just weeks after purchase

Used to replace original handlebars that have rusted over the years. New ones rust after a few weeks - in the sun or in my garage. They have not been exposed to rain or moisture. Really very low quality, typical of products from their country of origin: make them look so good you buy them, if they fall apart on the way home, who cares! It was a good deal but I wish I had paid more for quality, that sucks.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Fits my Hyper Explorer 29 " MTN bike!

Got these bars for a more comfortable ride and yes they work great. I recommend adjusting the bars firmly but not fully tightening. Then ride light bike. (without putting too much pressure on the handlebars) and adjust them a little lower/higher as you ride until you find a sweet spot.Once you've done that, you can tighten it fully!I wanted to paint them black so that they fit my bike but they ended up looking so good.Good buy, quality handlebars.

Great even for those with T-Rex hands!

I bought these handlebars for my fiance who loved to ride a bike but hated the stooping that came with it. I put her on her mountain bike and she is so in love with her! Keep in mind that she is 5ft 1in so her arms are a little T-Rexie and it was difficult for her to drive forward for more than 10 minutes without back pain. She rides with these bad guys for a while (no pun intended). All in all, if you're looking for a comfortable handlebar that gives your mountain bike the perfect setup forโ€ฆ
