Nothing to say but does what it's supposed to

I've used a few Walker exhaust parts over the years and they've always been reliable. This gasket is no exception, keeping exhaust fumes (and noise) in the pipes where they belong.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

08 Honda Ridgeline. You need 2 of these. Torque Screws up to 40 lbs.

08 combs. You need 2 for the flexible pipe that goes to the cats. They are pressed in when tightening the flange bolts. 40 lb ta and tighten clockwise like a car tire, but DO NOT skip over the bolts until the exhaust flanges are fully seated into the gasket expanders. You will also need one of the black triangular baskets that Revain recommends for connecting the coiled tubing flange to the center transducer. Much luck

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black

In better condition than whistles.

I have a problem with my downpipe and the cat fixed this gasket. Neither tube has a bracket to install the seal. This means that when you tighten the bolts to connect the flanges, you're basically guessing if it's in the right place. This expander gasket has expanded sufficiently to seal the surfaces where the tubes meet. I think it's a simple sheet metal pad. It took a decent amount of effort to start compressing and get a good seal. I'm sure it will last longer than the pipes, their sealing.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • So far so good
