The product does not match the description or the picture.

The product I received did not match the photo. The sizes are different and both holes are the same size. I was able to get it working with some extra work and a hose clamp for my car, but it would have been a lot easier if I had received the item as advertised.

I have a spares kit in the trunk

Exhaust system brackets are parts that can slip and fail at the worst possible moment. When this happened to me, not only did I replace 3 hangers on my car, I grabbed a spare set and tossed it in the trunk along with a spare serpentine belt and portable air pump. Walker does good. And Amazon had the best price considering the parts came to me.

it fits snugly, i was able to insert the male end into the female end by spitting in the hole.

installed on Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. it fits snugly, i was able to insert the male end into the female end by spitting in the hole. works every time. They may seem smaller than the factory bottles, but in the last 17 years they've turned into gummy bears, so who knows for sure. They greatly stretched the weight of my massive Indian made exhaust. no US sigh but they seem fine, time will tell. If you can't get a Ford OEM, they work. should be used for all panther city bodies etc.
