Volvo clamp like this Whilst this clip may appear flimsy there are no issues when properly installed. It holds the pipes together and helps seal them. For those struggling, it seems like they either have a system it's not compatible with, or they're expecting a fit that this clamp wasn't designed for.

This item was tested online "does the part fit your vehicle" but unfortunately not actually tested. The mechanic showed me the correct part and the Walker 35732 Hardware Hanger passed the online test "Does this part fit your car?" Inquisition, but unfortunately failed the test for real life application. The installer showed me what the "real" part looked like.

Bought because I needed to adjust my exhaust system and the current clip was too rusty to reuse. This hardly keeps the muffler on the catalytic converter; a design flaw, the screws go through the flat sections on the ends and then have to tighten the semi-circular sections but what happens is they bump into each other and can't be tightened anymore. This left a gap between the muffler and the catalytic converter, resulting in a sound resembling a poorly tuned exhaust. not a happy camper.

These clamps suck! I have yet to find a gasket that will fit between the muffler and tuned pipe and allow for the installation of this clamp. Without pressure, they all go together. I bought one from Amazon that didn't work. Tried in advance auto, autozone and foreign auto parts. They all have different seals somehow, but none of them allow you to squeeze the tubes tight enough to fit this collar. During this application I had all new Walker parts.
