Not suitable for Crosstrack 2018!

Well, it's not about the quality. I'm here to remind others that the 2018 Crosstrek exhaust pipe size is about an inch larger than the previous generation if those owners have said the pipe fits them.

Pros
  • Excellent general characteristics
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Ehhh is that okay? - Spare parts

Even after adjusting the flange there is still an exhaust leak under load which sounds like an open window in the cockpit. Good for preventing your bumper from melting when removing the muffler, bad for exhaust pollution.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Some bugs

Worked great as an exhaust pipe extender

I use it as an exhaust pipe extender for my gas generator so I can run it in my garage. It was necessary to get the exhaust fumes outside, and that helped. Slide a 6 foot long flexible metal tube onto the end of the tube.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • not reliable

Not too loud on Subaru GP

Fits perfectly on my 2012 Impreza Hatch, I cut the end off a few inches to match my lift/bumper/clutch configuration so it doesn't sag. It's a little louder than the original, but not as loud as the Straight Nameless I had before.

Pros
  • A few competitors
Cons
  • I'll add later

2015 Subaru Crosstrek Muffler Removal

I got this for my 2015 Crosstrek and I believe it should fit a 2013-2017 Subaru Crosstrek. Simply unscrew the stock muffler right after the axle and remove it from the mounting brackets. Then screw the pipe on, but you'll probably need a new gasket. I also bought new stainless steel nuts and bolts because I knew I would be taking them on and off several times a year. It's quite loud but not intrusive. It has a nice rumble, but with the cab radio on, it's not too bad. And I love that it only…

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • Nothing Here

However, this will fit the 2019 Crosstrek.

This works, but you'll need to make a few cuts at the attachment points to make it fit. To make sure it doesn't fall off I added some washers and an exhaust pipe gasket to keep the leek out. $12 is another cost to make it fit. The only thing I didn't like was that a small ruff was cut and stickers were put on the whistle. I had to use a wire brush to sand down the decal to keep it from burning/melting. I used to just remove the muffler and drive like that, but I think it helps reduce noise in…

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Small things

Super cheap TQ Boost / Good exhaust note

I didn't use this long before I bought a complete Tsudo exhaust system from SE Motors for my MY 14 2.0 Base Impreza 5sp MT. However, in the short time I've used it, it was apparent (also noticed by my father, who has driven my car in the past) that it gave the car more low-midrange power. I did this in a dry stream at the same time as the aem drop air filter. For around $40-$60, depending on how good the deal is, you get a better exhaust note and more low-end and mid-range power. You can't beat

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Expensive
