🔥 Walker Exhaust 53323: High-Quality Exhaust Pipe for Optimal Performance Review

This flexible pipe was not a perfect match for the cat converter. I had to heat it with a flashlight and bend it as best I could. Luckily the flexible part of the tube allowed some play with the outlet fitting.

I bought two of these for my Saturn SL2. Bought, didn't fit, bad angle to the rest of the exhaust. I thought maybe I just got it wrong. Bought another one, same problem. They both appear to be bent and welded the same way, but they do NOT fit my 2002 Saturn SL2.

I bought this Walker 53323 for my 2002 Saturn 1.9 DOHC/Automatic. This tube will NOT fit. #53323 is designed for air injection WITHOUT air supply. This system can be identified by the circular air pump located at the front right of the engine compartment. Extensive cutting and welding is required to make this tube fit. I got a used one from the scrap yard.

It just didn't last as long as I was hoping. This is only because it is not 100% stainless steel. I knew that when I bought it. Outside the salt belt this would have lasted even longer. Chicago winters are harsh on metals that can rust. But there was no other choice. This was done to fix the factory catalytic converter. That's exactly what he did. What was it for?

This Walker 53323 tube fits my 1999 Saturn SL2 perfectly. Of course, this is not the same quality as the original equipment. The original equipment lasted 11.5 years before it had to be replaced. This pipe lasted 5 years (I just installed a second Walker 53323 pipe and matching catalytic converter). However, 5 years is about as long as I would expect for exhaust system replacement parts.
