Accurate Temperature Reading Sensor

Using this sensor, our team found that it provided an accurate reading of the engine's temperature, allowing us to identify any potential overheating issues before they occur. The installation was a breeze and we had it up and running in no time. However, we did have some difficulty finding the correct placement for the sensor due to the lack of clear installation instructions. Overall, a great choice for any car enthusiast looking to protect their engine.

Pros
  • Accurately measures coolant temperature
Cons
  • Does not work with all vehicle models

Switch off English lights up but is difficult to read

works and turns off the engine gauge, but shows the wrong temperature on the sensor. I will not return just because there is a problem with the replacement.

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

WILL NOT FIT 1996 DAKOTA 3.9L

This one and 99.9% of the others listed in the 1996 Dakota 2WD 3.9L Magnum search results had TWO pins for the wire connection. Does not correspond to the OEM. In addition, it is about 0.5 cm longer than the OEM sensor. However, it is ideal for plugging a hole. The 1996 Dakota OEM sensor has ONE pin, and the internal wiring dimensions are not rectangular and have only ONE pin input. ATTACHED PHOTOS OF OEM SENSOR. I didn't realize it until I went through the return window when I finally had time

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Not All Will Fit
