Low Quality Sensor Fails Quickly

Automotive sensors are supposed to be reliable and accurate. After I put it to the test, this coolant temperature sensor failed within just a few weeks of use. The only pro is that it was easy to install. However, the cons far outweighed this one positive aspect. Don't waste your money on this product. It's low quality and unreliable, and you'll end up having to replace it sooner rather than later.

Pros
  • Accurate measurement of coolant temperature
Cons
  • Potential incorrect readings due to faulty sensors

Doesn't work - Coolant Temperature

It doesn't work at all. And he is very weak, and he collapsed when he took it out to give it back. Went to Pink-N-Pull and found an old one and it solved my problem.

Product doesn't fit - brass tip too big for thread

Don't buy this - you're wasting your time. The brass tip is slightly larger in diameter than the Toyota OEM sensor. The landing when inserting a standard sensor into the coolant hole is VERY tight. Due to the fact that this walker is larger in diameter than the OEM, it will not fit or sink far enough into the hole to begin threading. Waste of time having to drain coolant to replace. Rather spend a little more and get a Toyota sensor.

  • Spare parts
Cons
