Description of Walker Products 225 91001 Manifold Absolute

Measures manifold pressures through changing voltage and sends this information to the onboard computer. The computer uses the information received and other inputs to calculate the correct amount of fuel delivered. Symptoms of failure include poor starting, detonation, a check engine light, and or no start conditions. Sensors are non-serviceable and therefore must be replaced when non-functional. Manufactured to meet or exceed OEM standards and specifications.

A Reliable Automotive Sensor

We are impressed with this manifold absolute sensor based ON our own experience.It easily replaced our old and faulty sensor without any complications. the sensor accurately measures the air intake and helps maintain fuel efficiency. The durable construction promises to last for years to come. The only small con we noticed is the lack of installation instructions but it was easy to figure out with a little research. The pigtail that comes with this MAP sensor is NOT connected.

The faucet that comes with this MAP sensor will NOT connect to the sensor. The molded grooves in the pigtail do NOT align with the blocks in the sensor and prevent the pigtail from sliding into the sensor. More Chinese junk! It's a shame that the almighty dollar has effectively halted production in the US.
