Walker Products 900 1829A Thundercore Ultra Review

At first they looked like they were too short but they fit perfectly on my 2002 Tahoe Z71 5.3L with Round Coil Packs. Good quality cable. With these and some new NGK spark plugs, the truck ran very smoothly.

When they got here there were only 3 wires in the box. At first I asked for just replacing but then I saw that they would be too short even though they say they are for my Big Block Chevy. So I canceled. I've been waiting for over a week now. Will only buy locally.

I ordered new spark plug wires for my 2006 GMC Sierra 1500 5.3 liter engine. After installing the wires I found they were about two inches shorter to install without stretching them completely and then emphasizing where the wire needed to bend to make the connection. The quality of the wires was good, but they weren't long enough to leave them taut at the ends.

The product is clearly of high quality. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because they fit very snugly on my truck. If they were at least 1 cm longer, they would fit perfectly. Once you attach them to the spark plugs and coil there is no play. A little slack to relieve the wire will prolong life. 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD.
