Forked lever is more difficult to use but is required

I bought this open walking leg shortly after buying the one I hated. True, the lever of the old one rested on the needle bar, which made it easier to install the foot. However, this can result in the lever getting stuck in the up position and the feed dog not working properly, resulting in lumps of fabric. So the current one has a forked lever that should move up and down with the arrow, which is a definite plus. It also has plenty of room where the fabric goes, where the racks are, while the…

You get what you pay for!

The picture shows Brother's walking leg but it doesn't have the brother's name on the side as shown in the picture. It came in a box with a brother's stamp on it, but nothing on a walking leg. It installed easily and started to work very well, but then it started shifting my stuff and I heard a noise and something fell on the floor. I checked my needle first and it was fine and upon further examination I noticed it was a piece of plastic that had broken in the forearm. I have requested a refund

It worked great, but then.

I bought this open toe foot because it gives you a good view of where the needle is going, which is very important when quilting in the trench. It worked great until it started falling apart. The footboard fell off first. I'm pretty handy so I figured out how to attach it and tightened the metal knobs that hold it in place. It worked for a while and then again; I got dressed a little more. Then a small screw fell out. I saw that it went into the white case (the same is on the other side) and…
