I ordered it once and every detail was perfect. It's perfect for burning wood and you get a variety of sizes. I've just ordered a second batch and will update if it's not as good as the first as some of the other comments say, but hopefully it is!

Love this kit, only have one so far but intend to order more. Most of my work could be used. Some were very mossy, had branches or dark spots. I've painted before and I think they were all a good size and overall a great price per piece.

You are so beautiful and better than expected! I love the variety of sizes/proportions. And the price is thieves compared to buying it at a craft store. They're about $10-$15 each at the craft store, and these are about $4.50 each. Wow! I paint them with acrylics and sell them at craft fairs and on my Etsy shop. So perfect!

I've tried basswood but it works great for laser imaging and wood burning. It leaves sharp edges and a dark burn to contrast with the white wood. The pieces in the lot were not all the same size, but were in the range of about +- half an inch. The bark also remains. I'll buy again when the time comes.

super soft. I was going to use these for wood block molds but they are too soft to carve even with razor sharp Japanese chisels, you get terrible feathers. But then I have a wood stove and they are great for that. Also used one to transfer photos with glue, worked great. You can make really cool rustic gifts out of them.

I'm buying these for mine Brother who works on a wood burning stove. The first two packs were really good. The last batch had knots in the wood which made many of the pieces unsuitable for wood burning. I wish the quality control of the product was a bit better. I have 10 more packs ordered and he received them today he said every board in the package is perfect no knots I will continue to buy them for him.

Previously purchased this product and got a good range of sizes. In this box, all the pieces were almost the same size: 12 inches wide and 9 inches high. I use linden to burn firewood for myself and in the classes I teach. I made the mistake of assuming I would get collated since the box was advertised as collated and the previous box was collated. SORRY. Had to drive 75 miles per pound to find 3 smaller pieces to match the 5 I already had for the class. The quality of the wood was good.

I am writing as a wood carver looking for decorative boards to practice with. They come with bark all sealed in plastic in their box. The upper one was large, but the lower ones were different sizes. Also, boards aren't always square; I had to cut two of them to shape on a table saw. Last of the quality, there were hard knots on the boards, one of which had to be thrown away. Attached is a photo of my work with them. I should note that I plan to order more. I loved her!
