🔲 Versatile Unfinished Wooden Box with Hinged Lid - Ideal for Crafts, Hobbies, Storage & Home Décor Review

Looks great. Arrived without a single splinter. I use for decoupage. I sanded it down and it was smooth before and after. So far, so good. The metal stuff is very durable and we are placed very nicely and professionally. I found them a bit pricey but the quality is great, they are made from walnut and are made in the USA. That was important to me. So I definitely recommend this product. I have just ordered more as it is a quality product.

I suspect my complaint is with Revain and not the seller. For me the name of the product was "Walnut Box". In the detailed description it says Linde. How about a basswood box from Walnut Hollow? I spent double what I could thinking it was actually better than the other options only to find out no it just has a fancy name. The hinges aren't even attached with hardware, they're simply driven into the super-soft wood.

The box itself came in good condition. Unfortunately, this box is completely unusable for me because of the hinges. The seller does not show photos of the back of the box and does not say that the hinges are driven into the tree and not screwed. Sand and then attach them back to the box once you've finished painting/firing/finishing the wood. I can't get the hinges out of this box so I can't use them in my project. I really want the seller to state this clearly in their product description or…
