Good for the purpose. I tried blocking some light with it but it didn't work very well because the light still shines through the tape. But that's not what this product is designed for, so I'm not deducting a star for that :)

I used this to wrap a splice in a top light wire that I needed to trim. It doesn't behave like electrical tape. The glue is soft and sticky, and the tape doesn't stick well to anything, including itself at the end of the package. Useless garbage.

I bought white "duct tape" to attach a white decorative electric wire. First, it was difficult to "wrap" the item as the tape unwound no matter how it was applied. Thus, it didn't work as intended as an adhesive tape.

It can be difficult to pull up the edges and they sometimes come loose, but once you do you'll be fine. I'm not using it for its intended purpose so I'm not sure how it works with electrical devices. I use it to package paint protection gear, if you care about paint protection I wouldn't recommend it. It gets dirty easily, narrow, dull and slightly transparent. It's better to choose one that has glossy luster, thicker and wider. However, you get a lot for little money.
