Great value for an excellent golf ball

For amateur golfers who want value in a golf ball but don't want to spend over $40+ a dozen, the Callaway Warbird is a good bet. For less than half the price of a Pro V1 you don't need to feel guilty spending more than the 3 minutes golf etiquette allows for searching the rough for an errant drive. And, for those drives that find the fairway.the Warbird provides the feel and distance the more expensive balls are known for.

Pros
  • Priced to sell, great for the money
Cons
  • Warbird Callaway Golf Balls are not suited for golfers focused on spin control

Did not get amount advertised - should be 12 and only received 9

When I purchased it said there are 12 golf balls to the order, I only received 9 golf balls. How do I get the other 3 golf balls?

Pros
  • I bought these as a gift for Christmas. The recipient was very happy with them.
Cons
  • Players may not like the sound the ball makes on impact, leading to distraction or annoyance

A very good price for these golf balls.

I was looking for a dozen yellow golf ballsAt a reasonable price. I wanted a namebrand golf ball and this one was just what I was looking for. I will be buying them again.

Pros
  • These are great. Go very far and easy to see
Cons
  • Some golfers may perceive the firmness of the ball to be uncomfortable

For the price im very happy with these golf balls

Im getting more distance from these golf balls 4stars because im having to learn to use them on the green they do not put as smooth as my previous ball but the extra distance to the green pays off

Pros
  • Great price on a great ball!
Cons
  • Players might find the Warbird Callaway Golf Balls too hard, leading to low ball flights and less backspin

Straightest long distance ball I've played.

I've tried tour soft, pro V1s, truvis, pinnacle, Bridgestone etc.and out of all of them I found the Warbird and haven't looked back! For me, this ball hits straighter and goes farther than anything else I've played.

Pros
  • Apparently these balls have the Leftzies. =)
Cons
  • The design may limit ball flight options for some players

Great ball for the price. .

I like the softness of the ball and I get great carry for me. I am 85 years old and play to a 20 handicap and the ball works great for me. I like the softness of the ball. It compresses well for me and I'm able to hit it 175 yards. It works well on the green too!

Pros
  • Very nice . Shot 80 with them twice
Cons
  • The Warbird Callaway Golf Balls may not provide the same level of distance as some competitor options

Nice gift to give fellow golfers

These Calloway golf balls fly well with good distance. The yellow can be a bit difficult to see on fairways in the fall and winter that the grass has gone into hibernation and turned pale yellow.

Pros
  • Nothing
Cons
  • Players might not appreciate the texture or grip of the ball, depending on personal preferences

The bird can fly in my review

Long, straight and still puts nice. I'm no pro. I'll birdie a hole and bogey the rest. I donate at least 2 balls to the fish each round. Are these as good as Chrome soft? Not even close. Chromesoft balls spin better, and hit straighter off the driver for my swing. But they are more than 2x the price. So if you sacrifice balls to the golf gods like I do, it's hard to drive/put/wedge a better ball than a warbird.

Pros
  • Great for the price!!!!
Cons
  • These golf balls may not perform well on windy days due to their flight characteristics

Perfect ball if you cut across the ball with driver

If your T shots with your driver produces even the slightest fade or slice this is the ball for you. Hard enough that you will see less side spin. Really you should find a way to get rid of your slice or blocks because that simply means your clubface is open at impact. But if you're not looking to fix that, I recommend this ball. I was cutting across the ball slightly with my driver just enough to force me to miss fairways on the right but this ball eliminated that just enough to allow me to…

Pros
  • Total control. Inexpensive and easy to find in the rough or OB.
Cons
  • Some golfers may not like the look or design of the Warbird Callaway Golf Balls

My game. - my new review

While I cannot say my golf game has gotten better, I now get to scream "WAAAAAAAARRRRRRBIIIIIIIIRRRRRRDDDDDD" every time I hit the ball. So that alone makes these golf balls worth it!

Pros
  • I like this ball; it is fun and motivates me. Fortunately, it seems to hit long.
Cons
  • The firmness of the ball may cause some players to experience soreness or fatigue after extended play

Happy Campers for my opinion

I bought these for my husband, son and my daughter's boyfriend. They used them in Hawaii on 3 separate courses and said they were terrific. I'll be buying them again for our next trip I'm sure.

Pros
  • Good golf ball at a reasonable price.
Cons
  • Warbird Callaway Golf Balls are not recommended for beginners who require more control

Good soft yellow ball for the money

Bright yellow color, able to see quite well when hit and where it lies. Good medium loft when hit with driver, smooth straight high loft with wedges.

Pros
  • Nice balls, great value
Cons
  • The ball may not be suitable for players with high swing speeds, as they may not achieve the necessary spin
