🐶 Ware Manufacturing Twist-N-Go Luxe Dog Kennel – Extra Large Review

I have a 40 lb Basset Hound who is generally very reserved and calm. She only lasted one night in this box after her only escape attempt! I was gone for about three hours, during which time she was able to completely scratch the zipper, unzip it and chew on the rest. I am extremely disappointed!

As other reviewers have noted, this is a canvas cage for animals that are used to being caged. I will not restrict anyone trying to escape. But for someone who's used to boxing and just needs some restraint on the go, it's great. I keep it in the car. Really folds up and down in seconds even if you have to loop a leash around your wrist.

My dog is a leggy 60lb dog and this size was just right for the car. She didn't have an extra room, but she didn't have a car either, so we saved space and made her feel comfortable and safe (which is important because she's not crazy about driving). It was also perfect for packing my dog on a long ferry ride. It's exceptionally light, easy to unfold and pack down and has been a good shelter for my somewhat uptight pup.

This is a great travel kennel for my dog. She's a 50 lb beagle/beagle mix so she's almost a bit small but it suits her. I haven't had any issues with punctures or scratches but I kenneled her when she was younger. I've had it for several years now and it still works great and is very easy for me to travel with. I have to put a blanket over her so she can lie down a little more comfortably.

I use it when I have to take my dog to work, when I have to leave the office. It seems pretty solid, although she's not the kind of dog that will try to chew her way out. One day she ran away, I didn't zip it all the way up and she figured out a way to squeeze through. My biggest complaint is that there is no window at the back so due to the location in my office when it's outside she can't see who's coming through the door. Satisfied with this product. I had the same a few years ago, cheaper in quality but it really helped me. This one is definitely better. Since I was 8 months pregnant, it was too hard to continue talking about the big metal kennel inside and outside the house for cleaning and such. Now I can change the blankets, take the kennel outside to air, rinse it indoors and leave it in the sun to dry so easily! A little Fabreeze here and there is great too.
