Almost perfect fit

This part fits right out of the box with the exception of the eyelet connectors. I needed the hole to be 3/8" and the existing hole was 5/16" (or something). The plug was easily reamed to a larger size and everything works.

Pros
  • Automobile
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

As listed: Cables

I thought it was from the battery to the winch but it's the other way around. I bought a used winch and couldn't connect the red connector to the gray connector that came with the winch. Both were warning plugs. If you already have the gray warning plug it will still work, you just need to cut the small plastic tab off the red plug. I earned with no problems.

Pros
  • Tow bars and winches
Cons
  • Available in white only

Doesn't work for me.

I had an old set of Warn accessory cables. I sold my truck and forgot to remove the battery from the quick connect side. This replacement side of the battery will not work with the old connectors on the alligator clip side of the kit. Shit for me, but you live and learn. Why do you warn against swapping connectors? The molding just won't let them connect. Now I have to buy another connector and swap it for the terminal side. sucks.

Pros
  • Winch accessory
Cons
  • Hard to say
