Too heavy and not soft enough

After knitting, the blanket became so heavy that it was difficult to lift. One ball was barely enough for 2.5 rows of 15 loops in a row. Not very soft to the touch

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Boring packaging

Excellent quality at a good price

To be honest I was surprised by the quality of this tubular yarn at this price. It was one of the cheapest I've found and I have to say it's soft, learns and makes a beautiful end product. I knit my friend a dog bed for her frenchie and it looks so good! This yarn works well for "pillow" projects - I don't think it would make a very warm or comfortable blanket. The two I bought only had one connection. and it was well stitched and barely noticeable.

  • Satisfied so far

Difficult to work with - and from different color lots

I was delighted to knit a blanket on large knitting needles - size 70. Spent A LOT on 6 skeins of this material. I should probably say 6 pounds. Anyway, they split it into 3 packages: one had 3, one had 2 and one had 1. Obviously all from different color batches. You can tell from the photo. As I said, I spent too much on this and will never do it again. Do yourself a favor and use wool as all patterns call for. Serious. Very disappointed.
