Bought this cutter because my brother loves watermelons. Cutting a large watermelon into chunks is no easy task, but this tool made it much faster and more fun. Because it's so easy I was afraid it wouldn't work, but it works great! Watermelon is easy to cut.

The product does pretty much what it's supposed to do, but it's a lot messier, less lightweight and the parts aren't as perfect as expected. My wife thought she could do better with a sharp knife. Maybe the delicious watermelon was too wet (watermelon) for this frustration tool.

This item makes summer great. We love melons, but they take up so much space in the fridge. We have some family members who don't eat pre-cut fruit from the supermarket. We can cut and store melons without cuts or pith for refrigeration. It's more than easy to use and clean. Inexpensive tool for peace of mind in the kitchen :)

I don't usually buy disposable kitchen utensils but I love watermelons even though I can't cut them. You simply cut the watermelon in half, slicing off a few inches from one end, and run the cutter across the entire fruit to get the perfect-sized pieces. You can choose the height of the bites depending on how deep you start cutting. The wheel cuts each piece to the same width as the fruit. It also works well in turns so you can get as much fruit as possible. Definitely worth the price!

Honestly, it's about 3 minutes of fun, but I think you're better off just using a good knife. Also, you're more likely to get smoother cuts with a knife than with this tool. Luckily it was cheap but I wouldn't buy it again and it will probably sit in my desk drawer and never be used. I also used this for cantaloupe and it wasn't great. Also, watermelon gets pretty messy because of the juice you end up throwing away.

Some people like to cut up a watermelon and serve it with the skin on. It's okay for the road, but most of the time I dice the whole melon and eat it within a few days. This thing makes it so easy with no special knife skills! The video shows how easy it is. It has no edges, but the included bowler hats come to the rescue. Click it, rotate it and boom. a good melon ball for those "hard to reach" spots.
