I put it between the battery and heavy duty winch. So I don't have to melt the cables or the battery poles in the event of a short circuit or the winch standing still for too long. I do NOT expect this little circuit breaker to work as a $1000+ industrial part. It probably won't handle excessively high inrush current or even full load current for long, so it should be sized larger than you need but small enough to save on your wiring.
