Cute Little Boxes. Just enough room for wire nuts or snap nuts to make a 3-way. I have not used the plug inside. It was too small for my 10ga cable. The irons are very good. Tighten and I'm guessing they're waterproof. The baby is also glued. Nice little boxes. You just have to bury them in the flower bed.

Used to connect 12ga landscape lights. I used Wago 222-413 and 221-413 instead of the connector inside. Bought three sets, all the same quality. Maybe it was overkill, but added protection against failure from water. They were placed under a cap in a retaining wall filled with clean gravel 5/8 off the ground.

I like the simplicity of this junction box. Perfect for I really just need one complaint. It has holes for a larger wire like an outside extension, but the wire block inside has very small holes for the wires so I had to use wire connectors inside. Also comes with a reversible screwdriver so you don't have to run around looking for it! This year I converted the outhouse into lamps for my carved pumpkins.

Very strong and well built. The covers have a rubber grommet as well as each of the cable entry points, which is great for extra cable retention and general waterproofing. Internally the cable connector is attached to 2 pins so it doesn't move, although I'm not sure how well this would work with more than 2 cables as they appear to be rated for 14-16 gauge wire on each side, so i just tossed it and used wire nuts and it locked perfectly with no problems. I was expecting them to be a bit cheap and ugly, but I was pleasantly surprised that they are actually well-made, sturdy little boxes. I use them on my marine boat. Otherwise the only nice addition would be mounting tabs so you can screw them into place, but instead I just used zip ties to hold the wires. They are quite small so if you want to connect big cables it can be difficult to get them in, I used 18, 16 and 14 which was fine. I would definitely buy them again and if they were bigger I…

I've used them to hook up garden lights and added a tube of silicone sealant to seal the inlets. Typical garden light connectors are short lived and the insulated wire becomes stiff and difficult to insert so these boxes should be replaced for longer life. The idea is 2-wire in and out and 2-wire spur, but the included free screw terminal block is designed for 3 pairs of terminals, 2 3-way terminals would be better. The garden light wire is too thick to connect 2 on one side of the junction box
