[3:1 Shrink Ratio & Fast Shrink] Shrink ratio of our industrial heat shrink tubing is 3:1, which makes a tighter seal. Shrinkage temperature: 80 ~ 125°C, professional connections made in seconds. [Adhesive Lined Heat Shrink Tubing] While heating, the adhesive lined comes out and seals the connection, creating waterproof and long-lasting insulation. [Dual Wall Tube & Safer] Outer wall provides abrasion resistance. Inner wall creates a waterproof seal and strain relief. [7 Sizes] Heat shrink tubing kit includes 7 most commonly used diameters ranging from 1/16" to 1/2". Heat shrink tubing is precut to 1.77in or 3.54in. Pretty easy to use; strengthens connections with very small DPDT switch

I bought this for very infrequent soldering jobs where bending the leads when placing them on a breadboard can be tiring and eventually break tiny soldering tips. It works great for this task. The smaller size fits snugly around the 22 AWG lead wire and solder lugs to protect them. The larger wires were then compressed around the three wires on each side of the DPDT switch. No more worries about flimsy solder pins coming loose as soon as I need a switch.

Good heat shrink tubing, thick, good seal and adhesion.

3-1 heat shrink tubing lends itself to so many uses. Forgot to hang up the phone before connecting? With this shrink factor, the tubing will fit into many fittings and then shrink in place. BAKES and APPLIES. In this way, when you splice two cables, they literally join the jacket together, so the load is taken by the heat shrink tubing and not the splice itself.
