Terrible Automotive Coating For RVs

Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I can say this coating is a complete waste of money. The only pro is that it's supposed to be waterproof, but it didn't even last through a light rain. The cons? It leaves a streaky residue that is nearly impossible to remove, and it certainly doesn't provide any lasting protection or resistance. Save your money and avoid this so-called "permanent" coating for your RV.

Pros
  • Can withstand harsh weather conditions
Cons
  • Not suitable for use on non-metal surfaces

Strong and sticky adhesive band

The tape is just what I need, very strong and holds up well for a good seal. Used on a plastic cover over my deck on end connectors and anchor bolts in rainy Oregon and is great for caulking and waterproofing.

Super sticky! in Adhesives, Sealants & Lubricants

I used this tape to attach lights under aluminum railings that were a little rough and dirty and the adhesion was fantastic. The light gray adhesive is a thick sticky layer so when pressed it goes a bit past the edge of the tape so the look isn't exactly clean and leaves some residue on fingers so I wouldn't use it for a visible application.

Pros
  • πŸ‘π„πšπ¬π² 𝐭𝐨 π”π¬πž: Even if it is your first time to use this sealing tape, you can do an excellent job with this work. Simply peel off the peeled foil and apply butyl sealing tape to the surface.
