I used a control to test the accuracy of the bacteria test - it worked!

I liked the test suite - it answered my security question. It was easy and all tests except the bacteria test took just over an hour. After 48 hours for the bacteria test, I made a control sample for it by adding bacteria from yogurt and mouse poop to test for a false negative. I am pleased to report that my water tested negative at 48 hours, but my retest at 49 hours with a known bacterial control was positive. easy to use works well with pH test strips

I live in an apartment building and lately our water has often turned red-brown and leaves residue. I was worried about safety as I felt the contaminated water would irritate my skin.
