Kick ass in the moving air! Just a little noisy

They're not for silence! However, they do exactly what they are supposed to do. Move the air! And, my God, her! I have a Ryzen Threadripper 3900 series and they tend to get pretty hot. I mean hotter on average. However, after the installation. Dude, that helped! My computer ran between 63 degrees Celsius (145 degrees Fahrenheit) and 33 degrees Celsius (91 degrees Fahrenheit) on average. This increased cooling efficiency by 40% while running these types at just 1500 rpm. they accelerate to 5300โ€ฆ

Gives you plenty of cooling space, a huge improvement on a cheap AIO.

First of all, these fans are NOT LOUD, at least when used at "normal" speeds of less than 2000 rpm, below 2000 rpm they blow a lot more Air as a quiet fan at the same speed with no noticeable difference in noise level, so in itself it's a huge improvement over your water-cooled solution if, as I already work in a noisy environment (CNC room), lowering the max temp by about 5 - 10 C compared to a conventional fan. I'm running this test with an OC 5800X @ 4.6 GHz and I'm able to run Cinebench R20

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...

Connected this fan to my computer. In the photos, this fan is PWM controlled and lets it spin at 10% (1,000 rpm), 25% (2,000 rpm) and 100% (5,000 rpm). Setting the fan curve for this fan in the MSI B450 Tomahawk Max BIOS is quite easy. You really don't need to increase the speed above 50% unless your motherboard etc gets very hot. Great fan and as loud as any when the speed is controlled. Also, the fan is quite thick, so you might not be able to place it in certain places. Update: There is aโ€ฆ

  • Decent performance

Very powerful internal fans

If you prefer overclocked CPU cooling to quiet, you've found an amazing fan on the other side of the spectrum. It's definitely not very quiet, but wow, it's very powerful. At the moment I have this installed in my PC build as a ceiling intake fan. It can only be installed on the radiator itself in the future. In its current position, however, it is very close to the heatsink of the CPU cooler. I set it to idle below 800 rpm but shift it into a higher gear at more critical temperature levelsโ€ฆ

Loud but effective for internals

I use this as my main case fan for my PC. I was pretty short on extra parts when I built it, but I have 64GB of RAM, an m.2 SSD, a small collection of hard drives, a Ryzen 5 3600 and a 950 TI. The air conditioning in my house is also not the best, so the temperature in my room often exceeds 28ยฐC (82ยฐF). Needless to say, my computer was constantly thermally throttled as the two pathetic fans that came with it were sucking. I didn't want to go down the more expensive and complicated route ofโ€ฆ

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • everything is great

Well, while it was a great fan while it worked, it died on me in March 2021 after ordering it in September 2020. Electrically, the fan works fine, but the reason the fan stalls is due to the mechanism that locks the fan blade assembly in line with the stator (for the motor). I noticed that when I held the fan in certain positions, it would start shaking and the fan would slow down dramatically. I have 7 other geeks from different brands like Delta, AVC, Adda, Sanyo Denki etc and NONE of themโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Only available in white
