Now I started using this brand about a year ago. I bought it from Sprouts health food store because I read about the side effects of regular petroleum jelly. Eventually I lost the tube and forgot about it until I started taking Accutane. Accutane makes your skin, lips, inside your nose very dry. I found this guardroom. and it was SALVATION! Almost no product inside

I have mast cell disease which causes me to be allergic to most things, and celiac disease. Waxelene is one of the few products I can safely use on my lips. I wanted a small size for my lips to keep in my purse. The tube came unopened but almost empty. I don't know if it's even 1/4 full. Disappointing considering how much it costs. I love regular sized Waxelene tubes but will not be buying these again.

Do not use on frozen chickens!

I bought this based on a recommendation from Backyard Chickens to avoid petroleum products and instead use it to treat frostbite. This product has greatly aggravated the frostbite on my cock. Frostbite was worst where I applied this product. Whatever you read elsewhere, do not believe that this product protects combs and beards from frostbite. It's moisture, and it will cause frostbite.

The sealed end of the tube opened

I bought this hoping to find a lip product that acts like petroleum jelly but has no oil in it. The Waxelene product itself is fine; It doesn't work as well as petroleum jelly, but I'm willing to compromise since it doesn't contain gasoline. I always go without. This is the best I've found for softening and locking in moisture overnight and all day without the use of petroleum products. My lips love it! I used Blistex at night. Most of the time I woke up in the morning with lips that felt fine and they always felt dry with chunks of loose skin that I had to exfoliate. Sometimes they cracked and bled.
