Efficient DMX Signal Amplification: Stellar Labs 8 Way Isolated DMX Splitter - 3-Pin to 3-Pin Review

Great product for the price. I don't see how you can be wrong. Bought to replace a burned out splitter. If you've never used them, it's better than having a bunch of separate circuits.

A chic thing. Maybe one day we'll buy more. We ended up installing it permanently in a rack to replace our distributor ETC DMX who passed away years ago. This works great so far! It's great to have all of our DMX sockets working again.

It virtually eliminates the propagation of a DMX signal error to others in the chain. Yes, some of our lights still have problems, but now their problems are related to those light sources: it's easier to diagnose problems, and now the problems don't affect the entire lighting system.

This is a very well made product. It does the job, but there are a few flaws I'd like the engineers to fix. The DMX input is on the left side and I'm not sure why it needs to be there when you put it on a stand. As for rack mounting, it won't fit in a standard 19" rack, so I'm wondering if there's an adapter for that?

We used to have so many problems with our LED lighting system. We use at least 20 LED lights and using the usual daisy chain method, we spent countless minutes trying to figure out where the bad connection was at almost every show. We haven't had such problems with this device for a long time. I wish it was built a little better but for the price you can't beat it!

It just works! I've waited almost a year to see if I have any problems, but none. We use 5 out of 8 channels and our lighting has worked flawlessly ever since. We operate everything from dimmers, LED fixtures to 12 moving head fixtures. Thanks to this equipment, the room is now divided into 5 zones. It has helped us in many ways and I would recommend it to any of my colleagues around the world. For the price, it's honestly a bargain! Good product.

Wow! At first I was skeptical that this 8-way splitter is cheaper than most 4-way splitters and also includes indicator lights. I was half expecting the product to be plastic and with lousy connections, but I was very impressed with how sturdy it felt right out of the box! It's lightweight and, as other people have mentioned, has a peculiar arrangement of through holes (in/out) on the side. Overall this is a great product and overall well worth the price. Just received. Good product. Excellent quality. And no more daisy chains for me. It seems my previous enthusiastic review was a little premature. When I received the device just last week, all the LEDs (including the amber power LED) were flashing when I turned it on, but eventually, after about five minutes, this stopped and the device seemed to be working perfectly.
