Condiments can spill if not upright, as we found when unpacking our luggage on holiday. In order for the spices not only to stay fresh, but also to stay in the containers, the lids need to be more airtight. It's a great concept but lacks quality and functionality. I would love to see stronger containers and a handy labeling system for the same price. Everything is fine at the moment.

It's good to have extra salt and pepper shakers when you need them. When you're dining out and don't have condiments on hand, these cute travel companions come in handy. Six small canisters can hold anything. I gave them away to vacationers. Stainless steel canisters are nice, they don't have plastic, and the cloth holder is an added bonus. This is my second set of these handy canisters. Worth a try!

I haven't used the containers myself because I just got them today; However, the smell on the bag they come in is terrible. I hand washed the bag with detergent. I soaked the bag in Lysol laundry detergent. The smell is still there. I wait for it to dry completely and then try again with vinegar and baking soda. Also, the entire inside of the package was covered in white powder. Random but worth mentioning.

Bought as a gift for a chef friend. He wanted to take something with him when he traveled. I took the opportunity to inspect them before wrapping the gift. They are very durable canisters and conform snugly to the body. They seal well enough to prevent most of the spices from spurting out, but the canisters leak. Finely ground spices are best wrapped in cling film or a sandwich bag.

Exactly what I was looking for. I don't like keeping spices in my RV while they're being stored because they get hot in there and get stale quickly. I bought them for salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika and some BBQ rub. I keep them at home and when I load up my RV to go camping I just grab this bag and drape it over the sink. When I get home I take the bag and bring it to the house before I park the camper. The container lids screw on tightly and fit perfectly in the zip pocket.

Good shakers and well designed carrying case. But in general I was not satisfied with the design. Shakers are huge - larger than traditional spice bottles. They are all the same size and have the same lids. This is great if you want to carry whole pork steak seasoning, but not if you need different seasonings. Lids are also not suitable for finely ground spices like cinnamon, as the lids will leak if the jars are turned upside down. It would also be nice if there was some sort of rubber strap…

Made storing and using my spices so organized and easy. I bought chalkboard labels and taped them to the side of each container. I also cut out a half circle for each top of the container. Now I can easily see what each container contains. Instead of having different sized containers, this device is an attractive, well-organized, and easily portable way to store my spices. If you think that salt and pepper are the only two spices in the world, this isn't for you. If you enjoy preparing delicious food outdoors (most likely car camping as it's probably too heavy and unwieldy for hiking) you need this!
