a little heavier than expected

As an amateur table tennis player, I found this racket acceptable. Right now we just have a net that attaches to a regular table that came with two rackets. I think that this Stiga is a step up from those cheap ones that came with the set. I didn't give it 5 stars because it is a little heavier than I would like. Trying to make it weather-proof probably made it weightier than others you can purchase. For the casual use this one will get, the weight will not be a total problem. The feel of the…

Pros

Cons

Great paddle best in my review

This is a great paddle! The rubber on the paddle makes it very easy to do spin moves. It's a bit on the heavy side but that just means there's more power behind each hit. Keep in mind, however, that because the colored parts are rubber, leaving it out in the sun for too long will cause it to melt, making it all sticky. Just take care of the paddle and the paddle will take care of you

Pros
  • A little heavy but pays very good
Cons
  • Too heavy. Assumed it would be around the same weight as an indoor paddle. Assumed wrong.

Heavy but decent, great for rainy climates.

This is a well built, indoor/outdoor table tennis racket (or paddle) that is heavy but made of plastic and will not be damaged if it gets wet like a standard racket. In our house, we play indoors but we have teenage boys who are very hard on the paddles. They always get damaged. I'm not sure if it's from throwing them or what, but I am happy to report that this paddle is much more durable than a standard paddle, at the expense of being heavier which could be a problem for younger kids. Overall…

Good quality but. good for me

It is a little too heavy for beginners. Thanks for attention. I know it is specified but if someone like me didn't read here is a reminder.

Pros
  • nice grip, fun paddle to play with
Cons
  • Limited variety of colors

Good feel and control

The hollow form of the Flow Table Tennis racket is the what makes it viable for indoor and outdoor use. Once familiar with its feel, it also allows for greater control than a standard racket. A very solid tool to have in a ping pong battle

Pros
  • Good for offensive players
Cons
  • Expensive

Perfect beginner paddle.

Perfect beginner paddle. It is well made, good balance, and feels good in the hand. Some novice rackets try to do too much, but this one is great. A good balance of form, function, and value. Feel confident buying this great into paddle. It is a great one to have around, one that pros and beginners will feel good about using.

Pros
  • Very cool looking - cant say it helped my game but thats my own fault.
Cons
  • Not tournament-grade

More durable than other table tennis paddles

This racket was very durable compared to other standard rackets that seemed to start peeling at the edges. The first thing to wear on this racket was the handle, but the face held up much better than other rackets we have tried.

Pros
  • really good racket my GF uses this racket and she likes it
Cons
  • Not suitable for kids

Nice racket best in my review

This racket has a comfortable grip and is resistant to moisture and temperature changes. It is heavier than the average racket, but still handles well.

Pros
  • ‎0.2 Kilograms
Cons
  • Cannot withstand high temperature

Great paddle for people that don't like wood grips!

Bought this for my friend they hates the feel of wood on her hand. She loves it, it is surprising softer then I though, easy to spin. The weight of the paddle is more in the handle. But has a very sturdy feeling to it!

Pros
  • Item OK. But, heavier than I thought and heavier than I wanted.
Cons
  • Good Quality but broke on the side after 2 weeks.

I want to go back to my old paddle :(

Does not hold a candle to my Kettler Halo but I bought this for the durability and price. It's paddle size is better than the Kettler but the spin isn't there. It came with slightly visible waving under the pads (both sides). It has sharp curves at the base (if ball hits there, it reacts horribly) the handle is nice. It's a bit heavy for my liking. And the rubber pads have indents on each center & side from where the molding stopped.

Pros
  • Leisure Sports & Game Room
Cons
  • Not suitable for fast-paced play

Got nice control and spins are coming well

Paddle is little heavy. Got nice control and spins are coming well. Paddle is made of plastic rather than wood which holds form of even if we miss hit the table few times. Nice and strong.

Pros
  • Sports
Cons
  • Too much friction

Good paddle: my feedback

As advertised. Good paddle for the money. A little heavier than I thought it would be. Rubber is green on both sides. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • May be I will need more, nice one.
Cons
  • Requires more maintenance than other rackets

Overall good paddle

At work we have a ping ping table and we play volley pong, I have broken a few wooden paddles so I bought this for it's strength. This is a nice strong paddle that has good control and decent spin. The only downside is that the rubber on the handle has started to peel back already.

Pros
  • ‎STIGA
Cons
  • Not high-performance

Great design; a little heavy

A great racket for outdoor use! We will see how long the rubber surfaces stand up to the elements (not that I plan to leave it in the sun and rain, but .) the design is superb. Nice balance in the hand, even if a little heavy. As you can read, I did receive this one at no charge in exchange for doing a review, but I will be buying more of these to make a full set. They are really nice rackets.I downgraded one star due to the slightly heavy weight, but if I could give 4.5 stars I would have done

Penny-Wise, Pound-Foolish

I recently purchased a Kettler Outdoor table tennis set from Costco, and it included 2 Kettler Halo rackets. I really liked the Halos and wanted to buy 2 more, but I was a bit surprised to see that the Halos sold for $35 each. I saw the Stiga Flows in a sporting goods store and they looked identical to Kettler Halos, but for almost 1/2 the price. So I logged into Best Buy and bought 2 Stiga Flows.I received them yesterday, and they are noticeably heavier than the Kettler Halos. So if you're a…

Overall a nice paddle

We just got a ping pong table for Christmas so getting this paddle seemed ideal. Even though our table is indoors, we liked the feature that allows you to move the set outside and still use these paddles. The paddle itself seems to be well constructed and at half a pound it is a little heavier than the wooden paddles that came with the table. The handle is made of thermoplastic elastomers and a blade is made of polypropylene and glass fibers. Not only is the paddle well built but stylish in the

Great ball control - my new review

My grandson is also on the tennis team in high school and this weekend he did some pretty impressive ball control on his serves and returns. I asked him if tennis helps apply to ping pong playing and he said definitely yes.

Pros
  • Good one. Thanks.
Cons
  • Hard to generate power

Solid, Spinny, Hopefully Durable

Update Jan 17: tried out the Kettler Halo 5.0 mentioned in another review. Much lighter than the Stiga, almost same weight as regular indoor bat, smaller head size though. I would say get the Kettler if price isn't an issue, much more enjoyable to play with.Pretty solid bat. Much heavier than something like the Stiga Supreme. I wanted something similar to a hard back with more spin so this was great.I play purely for fun at work, but for those that are competitive, I think the rule is that a…

Tough but a bit heavy for me.

The Stiga Flow Table Tennis Racket is a great indoor/outdoor racket that is built to withstand being left out in the weather. It is definitely sturdy and well made, had a good grip and nice control. I enjoy using this racket but did find it a heavier than the one I am used to, which caused some arm fatigue after being used for a while. My son said it was fine and he had no problems with it - of course, you know that remark also had to come with a reference to getting old :)The Stiga Flow Table…

Pros

Cons
  • Limited customization options

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not as nice as most indoor rackets with extra weight.

I am on the fence about this item. You are definitely giving up better ball control for the ability to use it (and leave it) outside. For most users, that isn't something we need so understand that is why I dropped the star rating as I did.Pros:I do like the grip of the handleCons:Weight is noticeably heavier than most indoor paddlesRubber surface is thinner than I would likeEdges are not covered by rubber so you can get some odd hits off of them.Same with the large white section connecting the

Pros
  • BLADE HARDNESS – The hardness of the blade offers superior control for an indoor/outdoor racket.
