Description of ๐Ÿ”— Weaver Leather Bungee Chain Saw Strap: The Ultimate Secure and Flexible Tool Attachment

These 1-3/16-Inch wide double box-stitched Nylon webbing straps with 1-Inch elastic easily adjust by attaching the rings to a snap on a saddle or belt. A half twist in the loop end helps keep equipment hanging straight. 30-Inches at rest and 45.5-Inches long when fully extended. Welded nickel plated rings are 2-Inch in diameter. Non-rust manganese bronze 225 snap is 4-1/4-Inchlong. Bungee design easily stretches when youโ€™re using saw and retracts when hanging close to your saddle or belt. Heat-sealed ends help prevent fraying; Not Intended for breakaway.

Works well with personal protective equipment

The thing does what it should. It should be remembered that metal rings are not attached to things. Ask a couple of Caribs to put it up.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Lighter than a rope: Safety

I like that I can use the ring to hold the saw right against me when maneuvering up a tree or climbing stairs and also holds up when walking floor dirt away.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Functionality

Good equipment suitable for PSA

I like the thing. I really like the second ring for attaching the saw directly to the carabiner on my climbing harness. It could have taken a little longer to help but it's my fault for ordering it so short. I would recommend the longer length to anyone who doesn't just cut to their strengths.

Pros
  • Dope ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons
  • Nothing

It's a STEM thing, as my British friends would say.

This is a great little chainsaw harness. It has a good extension that closes with a latch and metal O-ring. I strap it to my Husqvarna 350 when I take this beast up a tree for serious work and it's my go-to harness for that! Quality product from a reliable company!

Pros
  • hands free
Cons
  • obsolete

It's way better than a rope.

This sling is a definite improvement over tying the rope to the saw and constantly tugging the rope on and off. I received exactly what was shown in the photo. It holds the saw securely and easily attaches to seat belts. When you let go of the saw, the impact of the saw is softened somewhat and the saw does not touch your feet and legs. Some find the length a bit short, I'm 6ft tall and never felt like my reach was limited.

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • A few small things

just hanging out in safety

25 years of climbing trees and doing it myself. I wanted something I could just buckle up and go. Some information on this device said this length has a latch on the end of the anchor (saddle) but it is a ring as in the picture. The built in elastic will take a small hit from a dropped saw, but it will also decrease the length and if you have long arms you may run out of elastic before you get to the cut. I will attach the locking carabiner to the anchor ring as my saddle has a ring and I useโ€ฆ

Pros
  • makes me happy
Cons
  • don't know

This is a signature Weaver Leather product.

Manufactured by Weaver Leather. It is exactly as described and exactly what I need. The only thing I would change is the color. It's a bit pink and gets in the way of my saddle lol. Like everything I've bought from Weaver Leather, this is a high quality product. I've read that some people don't like the position of the ring, but I totally disagree. By attaching the loop to the saw and keeping the latch somewhere on the saddle, the ring mates nicely with a carabiner that attaches to theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Protection
