I only bought tear-off brackets for my horse. When it arrived it turned out to be actually a brick street from Belco. I prefer leather.

I liked the different buckles and the fact that the halter came in a small horse size. My quarter horse has a mare's head and suits her perfectly.

I am disappointed with the clip or clasp that closes towards the horse. I want Weaver to look at the brackets or turn away from the horse like before.

I have been using these halters for several years now. They hold up well and protect the horses. They hold up better than the leather fuse versions. I have also found that they are very easy to adjust for horses with different head shapes.

I really like the quality and when I put it on my mare for the first time the tear away Velcro closure came in handy immediately when I fell and she stepped on the lead rope. She quickly lifted her head and the velcro opened as it should. Very beautiful and absolutely worth the money!

I was a bit disappointed with this halter at first because the nylon holes that house the buckle pins were a bit frayed early on. However, today my horse went on the leash because my friend let him drag on the ground again. She pulled back, and the velcro that came loose did exactly what it was supposed to do!
