Adjustment did not help. Still too small. 9-5-20 Additional Comments: Don't worry about returning it for an exchange or refund. I talked about the "worries" of having a horse with a big head. Nothing standard suits him. "Oh, I'm tired" - that's a quote from Eeyore from books about Winnie the Pooh!

This is a really good halter for the price. I went to Dover and bought a broken piece. This is not a leather crown but a cheek piece. To use it you need to cut off a piece of the halter (the very small area between the crown buckle and the ring where the hook attaches). I ordered a horse size that seems true to size. The blue is very light and has not lost its color in a few months. Generally very happy.

Good quality halter. It fits my horse well. I love the adjustable chin strap. BUT I do NOT like the neck clip. He very lightly rubbed the wound on my mare's head. The terminal point of the clamp is rubbed into the skin. The halter wasn't even tight on her. She could very easily put her whole arm between her face and the holster. I think it's because she turned her head when she was tied up. My best guess? Of course I will no longer use neck halters.
