Description of πŸ‘ Weaver Leather Livestock Sheep & Goat Training Halter: Optimal Control and Comfort for Effective Training

Multipurpose training halter features nickel plated dees at the top of the noseband and on both side bands for ideal attachment points. Lambs and goats are able to transition from warming up on a Walker to exercising on a treadmill using just one halter. Great training tool in the barn when tying lambs and goats in a stationary position to teach proper head positioning. 3/4 inch Doubled and stitched Black nylon ensures durability. Small size fits goats and sheep weighing 80-140 lbs. (Market-ready goats typically wear a small).

Icelandic Sheep, Small

Good for second largest buckle. Adult Icelandic sheep, polled (no horns). I'm curious to try on some of my horned sheep. Seems secure and I love that there are 3 attachment points for the lines.

Perfect for my young Nubians

Perfect for my Nubians to study with. My boys are around 60lbs and the small size is perfect with some room to grow. I ordered one to see how it would fit and immediately ordered 3 more to complete the "herd". Very happy with this product!

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Good but not great

Excellent harness for training goats.

Easy to manage your goats without much effort. Make sure it's tight as there may be few goats if you're not in control. These belts definitely help. I have 3 kids and they train and this harness is great for solid control. This harness is only used on the goat's head and is well made.

Very strong but not adjustable around the mouth

Love it. Definitely well made and sturdy, although I wish it could be adjustable around the mouth. I have a collar on my goat, JosΓ© Cuernos, which combined with the halter makes it a great option for tying him up when he's out at pasture and keeping him out of trouble. He only broke the leash with the collar, but when he used the halter he didn't pull. Happy with the purchase, got another one in pink when a friend found it!

Nice fit and easy to use

I bought a pygmy/dwarf halter and this halter is perfect for my four Nigerian dwarfs. My smallest (8 month old Pygmy Nigerian mix) weighs only about 80 pounds and is perfect for the smallest stride, while my largest (2 year old Lamancha Nigerian mix) weighs in at just under 120 pounds and is well suited for the largest stride. They had also never seen a halter before, so it was a great halter that was easy for them to wear and get used to.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

AMAZINGLY GLAD TO BUY IT

I am very happy with this product. Judging by the reviews I thought it was too much but it isn't. The small size was perfect for my 60 lb Boer goat as well as my 100 lb Boer goat and 90 lb Boer goat. It can get smaller, or it can get bigger. If it's too big it also has room for holes so it works for smaller goats. The material is thick and the price is great. It's great for teaching your goat to keep their head in the correct show position and teaching them to stand. I highly recommend this…

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Great Price
