Could this remote/keyboard be better, yes. But for what I needed I couldn't be happier. I had a remote PLEX Server Linux box that I wanted to run KODI on and stream to a TV via HDMI. The mouse pointer works surprisingly well, and only a handful of times have I had to pull out a real keyboard for special characters to work during KODI setup. Perfect for multimedia PCs + Use the FLIRC receiver to wake up/suspend the PC!

After receiving the remote control, I quickly found that it could not wake up a stopped computer. So after a quick google search I found the FLIRC USB IR Receiver and it works great with Wechip to wake up/pause the PC. Just install the FLIRC GUI app, select the Media Keys controller, bind the wake/suspend button to the power button on the Wechip remote and you're done. Also make sure that the USB port you are using supports USB Wake Support. Only 2/10 of my USB ports were supported. Can't…

I love to personalize android boxes for my friends who have no idea how to do it themselves. I bought them a G-Box for Christmas.
