Great for keeping knives sharp while learning the right angle

Can't see why any new sharpener wouldn't buy this great value angle guide set. Well made and easy to use. They'll give you the right angle while building your confidence and muscle memory. Great idea and worth the money. The blue corner guides are a good guide, they bind to the stone and then lay the knife down at a fixed angle. Because they are attached to the stone, they don't move with the knife and you have to hold an angle across the stone. There's a learning curve, but the job is…

Great tool: Hand Tools

I was pretty skeptical, but this thing really works wonders. Wedgek was my best buy this year. I just want to share my first impressions and my biggest mistakes.1. Sharpen with a coarse stone until you reach the FULL LENGTH tip of the knife. It's tempting to switch to a higher grit if the knife feels sharp in some places. If the edge is beaten and has dents, then it needs to be sharpened three times longer. Make sure no dents remain. Make sure you have a burr the entire length. If you miss this
