My Go-To PIR for ESP - Housekeeping

Excellent assembly ability. Easy press fit and they hold up well. The plastic bracket also consists of three parts, which simplifies installation when soldering wires. The wires come out pretty easy to solder my own wires. Make it even more compact! You are very purposeful. The 501 sensors I used had a slightly better latitude range, but the distance is comparable to these guys running esp12fs and reporting to the home helper via esphhome. You are excellent. Buy them, you won't regret it.

The high output level is 3.3 volts regardless of the supply voltage.

So these little devices put out 3.3 volts when motion is detected. wait a minute. No, no, not with motion detection! These are not motion sensors! They can spot hot objects like a cup of coffee, or if the ambient temperature isn't the same as the Arizona desert I'm in, I'm sure they'll be good at spotting people. When it's 101 degrees outside they don't work very well. BTW, that's 3.3 volts for a high-state output, and the output current is "You'd better have some kind of FET input amplifierโ€ฆ

My new favorite motion sensor I think is

. 9 out of 10 works very well. The 10th is different but works. Most of them have a duty cycle of at least about 1 second (measured from 950ms to 1.2s), the number 10 is about 2.5 seconds. Sensitivity appears to be good on all axes. The plane along the board could be a bit more sensitive, but not significantly when tested closely. The lock time is about 2 seconds (except for #10 which is about 5 seconds). During detection the open circuit output rises to around 3V. Note that this output can'tโ€ฆ
