The 3" shank version does not fold back as shown in the promotional video. This is one of the features I was most looking forward to. upset.

Please correct the description so the next buyer knows they are getting the correct part: Safe Weight 180 with 3" shank. You are wasting time and money.

I love the idea of knowing the weight of my hitch. Did 3,000 miles on it, dial stuck at 600 pounds. My trailer weight is 13600 pounds, my tongue weight is 1600-1700 pounds. For the guarantee we have to state the weight for sure. I hope to get it back before the next trip.

I bought this because it's so well made. I decided to try scales. The regulation requires 10-15% of the total trailer weight on the hitch. That's too much clutch weight. This implies 2000 pounds on a 20ft trailer. That is not right. Anyway, I really like the grip. It's very well done!

I have seen many reviews on this Class V hitch trailers with hydraulic tongue brakes attached at around 10,000 pounds. The clutch is very strong. No problems with scaling yet. It sits firmly in the receiver and emits only the faintest sound when stopping and starting. No hitting the pins. Changing the hitch balls and adjusting the ball height was very easy. Now I'm more confident that I'll hitch a heavier trailer in the future.

Amazing Professional Product. If you have a 2017 and newer F350 with a 3" drawbar (it also has an adapter for a smaller 2.5" drawbar) then this is a great product for you. My truck is raised 6 inches and I can lower it to match the trailer. There is no clutch lock included, so you'll need to get your own (longer 2.5 inches will work just fine). I highly recommend it to any heavy truck. Also available with a larger hitch for heavy trailers.

Beautiful product with fantastic machine work and exceptional detail. Only driven 800 km before it broke. The gasket or gasket on the bottom of the meter appears to be damaged. An email was sent to the seller on Monday promising operational follow-up and next steps from Weigh Safe headquarters. Since then not a word has been heard. Yet another great product, so close to perfection but lacking. Combined with the inability to call the customer back, this is what counts for a 1 star.

Ordered a 3" shaft with 8" drop for a 2018 Ford F250 before my truck arrived. When the When the truck arrived I found that it had a 2.5" receiver, not the 3" as I was told. 3 stars only because the seller said it would fit my truck. After getting my truck I found that a 6 inch drop was sufficient and more practical. So I switched it back to a 2.5" shank with a 6" drop and am quite happy with the 6" for the F250 4x4 so far.
