For light to medium duty cleaning of surfaces, recesses, and IDโ€™s. For deburring component parts machined from soft, non-ferrous metals. Great for areas like refineries and petrochemical plants where flammable or potentially explosive materials are present. Brass fill material for a soft brushing action which will not create a spark when used on metals. Wheel dia 6 in, width 1/2 in, fill dia .012 in, trim length 1-7/16 in, made in USA.

Solid brass

Expensive product but made from solid brass not brass plated steel. This creates a less aggressive scratch pattern, making soft brass items easier to buffer and clean.

Pros
  • Grinding and finishing materials
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Have to buy 2 stinky ones but this is a great wheel

I bought this wheel because I need a solid brass washer to clean the valve stems in my TR6. This particular Revain item comes with **two** brass wheels, which is a little annoying (and brings my value for money down to 2 stars), but as my name suggests, it's a great wheel. This is a wonderful product.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Only available in black

These wheels really are made of brass!

These wheels are balanced. Importantly, the wheels are installed with a small nylon bushing in the center of the wheel, which requires the wheel to be pressed into place with a lock washer, which is originally the part of the grinder you attach the wheel to. . These wheels are actually made of brass and are of excellent quality.

Pros
  • Wheel brushes
Cons
  • Quick guide
