A good gift for the chef in your family

This was a gift for my friend who loves to cook and admires good damask knives. He was really impressed with it and loved receiving it.

Pros
  • Cute
Cons
  • Not as thick as the others

Great chef's knife - chef's knife

Very stylish knife. The right size and weight makes it comfortable to hold and easy to trim. The successful combination of colors and decorations on the knife make it great. Like the knife.

Pros
  • So far so good
Cons
  • Upgrade available

Decent knife, real damascus knife

This is a decent knife. This is a real damascus knife, you can see the curved steel on the blade compared to other fakes on Revain where it's just engraved. The weight balance is pretty good. I wish the grip was more ergonomic and had a little more flex.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Secret

Knife change experience

This knife is good for everything. He cuts, cuts into cubes, makes strips for french fries. This is a really good knife. Looks cool and heavy. Let me put it this way: I have a knife block of Wusthof knives and I usually use that instead (don't get me wrong - Wusthof knives are great).

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • thin

Possibly the best knives I've ever picked up

After a week of use I am completely satisfied with this chef's knife. It's comfortable, heavy and with good balance. And it's definitely a lot sharper compared to other knives I've bought before (you actually have to be more careful when using it). Also I really like the design that looks so cool :)

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Good but not great

Japanese? for chef's knife

The knife is good enough, but it's not a chef's knife made in Japan. The knife is made in China and the quality does not match a hardened Japanese blade. It's a cheap fake that got damaged by the steel when I tried to straighten the edge like I did for years on the blade of the German steel blade I was replacing. The option is given to buy either this blade or a genuine Japanese Damascus blade.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Requires socket

Damaged box, dull knife.

This is a replacement for the $19 knife I bought. I decided to buy a better quality knife as the blade on my last one broke within 3 weeks. The box arrived slightly damaged, not a big deal to me but worth mentioning. There are flakes in it (see photos). The knife itself arrived darker than the $19 knife it was meant to replace. Overall it looks like a solid knife and I hope it will last. I tried sharpening it and it didn't come out sharp, I'll try sharpening it again and hope it gets even…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Senior Citizen

Same great knife, nice handle

I recently bought this knife with a different handle. My wife liked it so much that when the other knife got dirty she asked for a second one. The only difference between the two knives is the handle. The one I originally bought had a traditional handle, but this one has a nice blue herringbone pattern. What can I say about this knife that I didn't say in the previous review? This knife is a chef's knife, which means that it serves many different functions, including cutting meat, fish…

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Not the best
