Three thumbs up. suitable for welding helmets

The kit was bought a long time ago. I'm so glad not to remove the reading glass while welding. I would definitely buy again.

Pros
  • Head protection
Cons
  • Miscellaneous

So you can see better

I put it on my helmet like I should and it really improved my vision. It works well but is too strong for my current vision. I will order another one with a lower magnification.

Pros
  • Welding Helmets
Cons
  • Nothing

Works as advertised

Sometimes it saves my ass, sometimes I don't like it and I take it out. It's cool that I can just slide it in and out or cut it in half so half of my window gets enlarged and the other half doesn't. Overall, for the price and ease of use, I'm glad I got it.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Good, but not good enough

Worked well. My eyes couldn't get the lens to work like my cheaters. It seemed like one was focused and the other wasn't. I had to cut out small sections on the sides to fit. It was worth a try, I'll order glasses with the right power right away.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

NO Miller brand

When it comes to welding consumables I don't like to buy branded products. I'll try, but I don't like getting something I didn't want to buy. I wanted a MILLER brand 2.5x lens, not the generic brand I was given. How can it be ethically listed as a MILLER brand in both seller ID and product description? It looked blurry just holding it, but maybe at the right distance it would be sharp in the helmet.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some mistakes
