Welding Kit Practice Training Beginner Review

If you don't understand, they are too small to weld. The 2 inch weld is over before you know it. 15 dollars? You should be ashamed selling these tiny things at such a price. I got the size wrong, more like 2 by 11 is misleading. don't read fast and don't buy like me.

I bought this to learn to weld. I am very happy with my purchase. Thickness is good and much more forgiving than the thinner metal I first tried. I have an exhaust pipe and I blew it all the time because it's thin. Being a bit fatter, I was able to learn how to make a nice puddle and drag it around without blowing a hole in my project.

I got my AlphaTIG a few years ago but never used it. I bought this product 2 weeks ago and used it as soon as I received it. The last time I TIG welded anything was in 2005 so I'm very rusty. It's a bit expensive for what you get. But if you're too lazy to cut out your own "Coupons" then this product is for you. I also bought an aluminum version to work on later.

They are exactly as described but I was kind of surprised at how small they were when they arrived. This is a fun little project to practice welding, but why not make your own and practice a bit with an angle grinder cutting disc by making your own cheaper weldable squares out of a piece of 2 inch flat bar from a big store . You only care about the welding and prefer not to cut yours, this is a good option.
