I've seen a lot of reviews about unsealed bottles. I was wondering about this but found out that the manufacturer doesn't seal these bottles because the ingredients cause pressure. I also purchased this product from Sally Beauty Supply and it was unsealed. I've used this developer 20 twice and it seems to work fine.

Disclaimer: I've been using WELLA Developer for 5 years now. I've been using this toner level (20) for 5 years. The bottle arrived damaged, a large dent on the side. The product didn't seem full and diluted. I poured a little to test it and it was so diluted with water that it was almost transparent. This developer should be off-white and white. Can't confirm if it was tampered with but got a refund and threw it away.

I used 40 volumes of Bleach Powder. I've been able to dye my own hair since I was in high school, but there was a lot of damage that came with it, I bought the cheapest bleach and developer. Correction to my previous review: I assumed this product had been tampered with as there was no security seal and it appeared a little low. However, I visited a local cosmetics store to see if this is normal for this developer and apparently it is. I then used this developer and had no problems. It works well.
