I bought this sponge to replace the sponge on my old soldering station which broke down so I got a bigger and better soldering station from Weller. The sponge has worked great the few times I've had to use it!

I am an idiot for thinking I had been ripped off and as soon as it arrived it was flat as a piece of paper. And the thickness felt like leather, I was in a hurry to use it, I forgot to note that it is not in the form of a sponge. Until recently, but works great and does the job.

I was willing to write a one star review as the sponge was very thin when it arrived (0.09 inch thick). All I had to do was wet it and it expanded to its full size. It fits my Weller WLC100 station. It doesn't have cutting lines like the original, but I think I can always cut it myself if I want.

Purchased for Weller WLC100 Soldering Station. The sponge works perfectly. The only issue I had was that it came in a box with four other larger items and I almost threw away the small sponge plastic bag along with the packaging airbags because it was so small I didn't notice it.
