best tools for power tools and hand tools

best tools, I'm tired of broken masters, huskies etc and glad I chose them, they withstand the abuse of a large torque and also become thin bottleneck ratchets, when other ratchets couldn't, thanks for the great tools

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Expensive

Damn good ratchet

I recently bought a Wera ratchet just to try it. I fell in love with her so I bought these and she wasn't disappointed either. It feels good in the hand, the selector is smooth, the pawl works without hesitation. It's a little longer than most ratchets, which is nice.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Not bad but...

very good ratchet suitable for hand tools

A wonderful tool to hold, feels great. The transfers are very smooth as you would expect. I bought a set of sk sockets which are good too, but I'm more inclined to pry and push bottom ratchets like my old pre-Chinese masters than the sk twist and pull. They really exceeded all expectations and a lot better than my old master.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • I have no negative feelings about it, everything is fine

Very good ratchet! for socket wrench

Considering their low quality and the lack of dimensions in their socket sets I was very surprised by this Wera steel ratchet, a very good 1/4 drive gear lever ratchet with a slightly longer than usual handle. It feels good in the hand. The only downside is that I don't see any way to service or repair the instrument. I don't think it's meant to be repaired. I would buy again, thanks!

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Wera ratchets - my "bottom line " for this tool

I have all sizes of this tool. I have never used a clasp or any other super expensive brand. I have Tekton keys and love them. I have this tool in Handyman, Alltrade and Husky. I only buy Vera. This tool is perfect. I like it better than the American style snap-on grip. It is convenient to work with him. All my sockets fit.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Was damaged

Really good ratchet

construction metal cabinets as soon as I received them. I put in my small 90 tooth ratchet and used this one again (although this Wera only has 72 teeth) due to the narrow and small head that hits small corners. Another 90 tooth ratchet will not fit tight spaces. At first everything seems fine, until you use it you realize that this is a very good ratchet.

Pros
  • wrench
Cons
  • crumpled packaging

the switch is difficult to operate if you don't move the drive

I'm a bit disappointed with this ratchet. I have to work in tight spaces and be able to easily switch from left to right. With this ratchet, I always have to move a little when shifting gears. Otherwise it doesn't switch. This might seem like a minor issue, but it's very annoying when you're on a tight turn and need to move the ratchet in the direction of rotation. Although there may be some damage.

Pros
  • hand tool
Cons
  • disappears

The directional lever is cheap and breaks

Good ratchet, good tooth count. Well designed to touch. But the directional shifter is a bloodless cast and broke off after minimal use, and it broke right off the switch so it's now impossible to change ratchet direction. Not used extensively either, saw maybe 2 hours of occasional light use before it broke, the rest of the ratchet is basically new. A 3/8" ratchet can have a thicker derailleur body, although I only have a 1/4" ratchet which is too thin.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
