Good value for money reduced shank drill

The 11/16" drill had some micro dents and imperfections and it's a cheap Revain product so I was concerned. I've drilled over 8 inches total thickness in mild steel this weekend and it's still working (no sharpening). Worth every penny as an HSS drill.

Cons
  • I don't remember

Saving money and time on cutting tools

I had to enlarge 2 holes in the jack from 3/4" to 1" (for 1" bolt/axle). The local machine shop charged $20 to drill 2 holes (thin metal 1/8th gauge "). This drill worked great and saved me $5. PLUS I now have a 1" bat for my next event!

Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Good drill for metalworking and multi-purpose

Like any drill for cutting metal. Limit the RPM and feed, use plenty of coolant to keep the edges from fraying, and the drill will last a long time. Every bit has a life before it needs to be sharpened. When sharpening, keep pad and corners of equal length. In this case, the drill retains its diameter.

Cons
  • Only available in black
