Works like a charm, fits right out of the box, unlike the 2 anchors I tried

Bought this mount to replace my crumbling "frown" anchor which didn't even last 2 years. I don't do many miles in my car (40,000 in the 9.5 years I've owned it) so I expect to live on something like an engine mount for a few years. The anchor I replaced was the second one I bought that didn't fit right out of the box - the frame's bolt holes were too far apart, forcing me to modify the mount just to fit . Such a pain! Read good information.

Greetings. I installed this in my 1999 Saturn SL2. (If you have double overhead I think you're fine.) The install took longer than expected. I used a 15mm deep socket for all 7 bolts/nuts. (Yes 7 and yes nuts and bolts.) See Richpin06 or something like that. He suggests loosening/retightening the bottom hook and his reason makes sense. The engine bolts on top were rough. Cheap solution to an annoying problem

I have an SC2 and have driven 400,000 km since the release. This will be my third engine mount. The first was torn apart, the second - "gloomy" support from Saturn, which did not fall apart, but settled and transmitted a large vibration to the car in the range of 2-3 thousand revolutions and at idle.
