Worked great! I bought the wrong one from our local store and they didn't have the right one. Thank goodness Revane made it!

Most hardware store spouts have an adapter. This product is a spout only. I had to remove the faucet from the old spout to reuse it, which I didn't want to do. The spout, like most other devices, must have a fitting.

What I liked most about this replacement faucet is that it is all or almost all metal. I replaced a beautiful Delta faucet that had nothing but a plastic interior. The replacement is a bit small, but works great. It's a very simple design, but all the alternatives from our major hardware stores were made too cheaply, albeit not cheaply.

At first I thought I should just take the old one out and replace it with a new one. Various sizes but after changing the hoses my husband was able to install it he told me i never buy stuff like this without showing him first although i love the matte black it looks great also see the other bath tub parts flanges rings etc i bought from Westbrass looks great too Yes I recommend the bathtub spout, just measure which type you need.
