I received the bulb well packaged in a large box with bubble wrap, and the bulb is safe and sound. When trying to insert the bulb I had a very hard time getting into the fixture as it was about 1/8 inch too long. Went ahead and plugged it in and when I turned it on only the ends caught fire. When I received this item it was not in the original packaging. It was just bubble wrapped and there was no trademark on the bulb. I believe it was a Westek replacement bulb that I ordered. I'm buying a second bulb from another seller for a little more and it arrived in the original Westek blister pack. I bought my lights from Lowe's but they no longer sell these lights. I had a very hard time finding her. I finally found them at Revain and only ordered one to make sure I got the right bulb.
