🔧 Quick Fix Solution: Western & Fisher 9-PIN Plow Side Harness Repair Kit Review

Fits great, works great, supplemented with heat shrink tubing 3/4" diameter and 8" long, don't forget to put heat shrink on before crimping the connectors.

As described, but no documentation. I had to take the old connector apart to see which colors go with which pin, but one day I found everything was fine.

All wiring is color coded to match exactly the original wiring. This made for easy wiring. I connected it today and it has tested satisfactorily. It came with crimp wires, each wire a different length. Not sure if this was an advantage, so I cut the wires so they were all the same length and soldered the connections, lubricated with electric grease, wrapped in shrink wrap, and then added some armor to the connection area. I hope this continues until the end of the plow's life.

After the connector was fully mated and crimped, I attempted to fit a new plow-side connector into the existing auto connector. There was no way to close the connection due to a combination of misaligned plow side pins and pins that were too big for my existing car side connector. No force or slight movement of the pins could bring them fully together. This replacement part was not made for existing 9 pin plugs.
